Those who deny the truth say, "When we have turned to dust like our fathers, shall we be brought back to life again? 67 We were told about this and so were our forefathers before us. But these are no more than fairy tales that have been recounted from ancient times." 68 Say (unto them, O Muhammad): Travel in the land and see the nature of the sequel for the guilty! 69 And grieve thou not for them, nor be in distress because of what they plot (against thee). 70 And they say: When (will) this promise (be fulfilled), if ye are truthful? 71 Say: It may be that a part of that which ye would hasten on is close behind you. 72 Surely, your Lord is bountiful to the people; yet most of them do not give thanks. 73 And most surely your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they manifest. 74 And there is nothing concealed within the heaven and the earth except that it is in a clear Register. 75 Verily, this Quran narrates to the Children of Israel most of that about which they differ. 76 It is a guidance and a mercy to believers. 77 Verily, [O believer,] thy Sustainer will judge between them in His wisdom - for He alone is almighty, all-knowing. 78 Therefore rely on Allah; you are indeed upon the clear Truth. 79 Thou shalt not make the dead to hear, neither shalt thou make the deaf to hear the call when they turn about, retreating. 80 Nor canst thou be a guide to the blind, (to prevent them) from straying: only those wilt thou get to listen who believe in Our Signs, and they will bow in Islam. 81 ۞ And when the time for the fulfilment of Our Word against them will come, We shall bring forth for them a beast from the earth who will speak to them because people did not believe in Our Signs. 82
