The unbelievers say: 'When we and our fathers are turned to dust, shall we be brought forth? 67 Indeed, we were promised this - we and our forefathers - in the past as well; it is nothing but fables of ancient times!" 68 Say: "Go ye through the earth and see what has been the end of those guilty (of sin)." 69 (O Prophet), do not grieve over them, nor be distressed at their designs. 70 And they (the disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah) say: "When (will) this promise (be fulfilled), if you are truthful?" 71 say thou: "It may well be that something of that which [in your ignorance] you so hastily demand has already drawn close unto you." 72 Surely, your Lord is bountiful to the people; yet most of them do not give thanks. 73 And verily, your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they reveal. 74 And naught there is hidden in the heaven or the earth but it is in a Manifest Book. 75 Indeed this Qur'an explains to the children of Israel much of what they are at variance. 76 It is a guide and mercy for the believers. 77 Surely, by His Judgement, your Lord will decide between them. He is the Mighty, the Knower. 78 Therefore put your trust in Allah, for you are upon a clear truth. 79 Lo! thou canst not make the dead to hear, nor canst thou make the deaf to hear the call when they have turned to flee; 80 Nor can you be a guide to the blind out of their error; you cannot make to bear (any one) except those who believe in Our communications, so they submit. 81 ۞ When the Word falls on them, We shall bring forth for them out of the earth a beast that shall speak unto them: 'Mankind had no faith in Our signs.' 82
