The unbelievers say: "When we become dust, we and our forefathers, shall we really be brought out (from our graves)? 67 “Indeed this promise was given to us, and before us to our forefathers – this is nothing but stories of former people.” 68 Say: Travel in the earth, then see how was the end of the guilty. 69 And grieve thou not over them nor be straitened because of that which they plot. 70 They ask, "When will this promise be fulfilled, if what you say be true?" 71 Say: "It may be that some of the events which ye wish to hasten on may be (close) in your pursuit!" 72 Truly, your Lord is bountiful to mankind, but most of them are not grateful. 73 And most surely your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they manifest. 74 All the secrets in heavens and earth are recorded in the illustrious Book. 75 This Quran tells the Israelites most of the matters about which they had disputes among themselves. 76 And verily it is a guidance and a mercy unto the believers. 77 Your Lord will judge among them according to His own decree. He is Majestic and All-Knowing. 78 So put your trust in Allah for you are on the manifest truth. 79 You do not make the dead hear, nor do you make the deaf hear you call when they turn about, retreating. 80 Nor canst thou be a guide to the blind, (to prevent them) from straying: only those wilt thou get to listen who believe in Our Signs, and they will bow in Islam. 81 ۞ And when the Word (promise) appears upon them, We shall bring forth for them a beast from the earth to speak to them – because the people were not accepting faith in Our signs. (This beast will rise from the earth, when the Last Day draws near.) 82
