And certainly We sent Nuh to his people, so he remained among them a thousand years save fifty years. And the deluge overtook them, while they were unjust. 14 But We saved him and those with him in the ark, and made it a sign for the creatures of the world. 15 And [We sent] Abraham, when he said to his people, "Worship Allah and fear Him. That is best for you, if you should know. 16 You worship idols in place of God and invent lies. Surely those you worship other than God have no power over your means of livelihood. So seek your sustenance from God, and worship Him and give Him thanks. To Him will you be brought back in the end. 17 But if you deny, then many a people have denied before you. The duty of the apostle is to convey the message clearly." 18 See they not how Allah originates creation, then repeats it. Verily, that is easy for Allah. 19 Say: “Go about the earth and see how He created for the first time, and then Allah will recreate life.” Surely, Allah has power over everything. 20 He causes to suffer whomever He wills, and bestows His mercy on whomever He wills; and unto Him you shall be made to return: 21 Escape Him you cannot either in the earth or in the sky; and you have no friend or helper apart from God. 22
