Say [unto those who will not believe]: "God is witness enough between me and you! He knows all that is in the heavens and on earth; and they who are bent on believing in what is false and vain, and thus on denying God - it is they, they who shall be the losers!" 52 Now they challenge thee to hasten the coming upon them of [God's] chastisement: and indeed, had not a term been set [for it by God,] that suffering would already have come upon them! But indeed, it will most certainly come upon them of a sudden, and they will be taken unawares. 53 They ask thee to hasten on the torment; and verily the Hell is about to encompass the infidels. 54 The day the punishment comes upon them from above and underneath their feet, (God will) say: "And now taste of what you had done." 55 O My bondmen who believe! verily My earth is wide, so Me alone worship. 56 Every soul shall taste death and then to Us you shall return. 57 whereupon unto those who have attained to faith and wrought good works We shall most certainly assign mansions in that paradise through which running waters flow, therein to abide: how excellent a reward for those who labour 58 who remained steadfast and put their trust in their Lord! 59 How many a beast that bears not its own provision, but God provides for it and you! He is the All-hearer, the All-knower. 60 If thou askest them, 'Who created the heavens and the earth and subjected the sun and the moon?' they will say, 'God.' How then are they perverted? 61 Allah makes abundant the means of subsistence for whom He pleases of His servants, and straitens them for whom (He pleases) surely Allah is Cognizant of all things. 62 If you were to ask them: “Who sent down water from the sky and therewith revived the earth after its death?” they will certainly say: “Allah.” Say: “To Allah alone be praise and thanks.” But most people do not understand. 63
