Al-Ankaboot 7 of 7
The life of this world is only a sport and play. It is surely the home of the Hereafter that will indeed be life extended and new, if only they knew! 64 And so, when they embark on a ship [and find themselves in danger,] they call unto God, [at that moment] sincere in their faith in Him alone; but as soon as He has brought them safe ashore, they [begin to] ascribe to imaginary powers a share in His divinity: 65 In order to be ungrateful for Our favours; and to use the comforts; therefore they will soon come to know. 66 Have the (pagans) not seen that We have made the holy precinct a safe place while all the people around are suffering terror. Do they believe in falsehood and disbelieve in God's bounties? 67 And who is more unjust than one who forges a lie against Allah, or gives the lie to the truth when it has come to him? Will not in hell be the abode of the unbelievers? 68 As for those who strive hard in Us (Our Cause), We will surely guide them to Our Paths (i.e. Allah's Religion - Islamic Monotheism). And verily, Allah is with the Muhsinun (good doers)." 69
