Evil has spread over the land and the sea because of human deeds and through these God will cause some people to suffer so that perhaps they will return to Him. 41 Say thou: go forth in the land and behold what wise hath been the end of those of aforetime? And most of them were associaters. 42 So set thy purpose resolutely for the right religion, before the inevitable day cometh from Allah. On that day mankind will be sundered- 43 So that he who disbelieves will bear the consequence of his unbelief; and he who does the right will straighten out the way for himself, 44 That He may reward out of His bounty those who believe and do good works. Lo! He loveth not the disbelievers (in His guidance). 45 for among His wonders is this: He sends forth [His messages as He sends forth] the winds that bear glad tidings, so that He might give you a taste of His grace [through life-giving rains,] and that ships might sail at His behest, and that you might go about in quest of some of His bounties, and that you might have cause to be grateful. 46 We sent Messengers before you to their respective nations, and they brought Clear Signs to them. Then We took vengeance upon those who acted wickedly. It was incumbent on Us to come to the aid of the believers. 47 Allah is he Who sends forth the winds so they raise a cloud, then He spreads it forth in the sky as He pleases, and He breaks it up so that you see the rain coming forth from inside it; then when He causes it to fall upon whom He pleases of His servants, lo! they are joyful 48 Even though, before they received (the rain) - just before this - they were dumb with despair! 49 Therefore observe the result of Allah’s mercy, how He revives the earth after its death; He will indeed resurrect the dead; and He is Able to do all things. 50 And if We send a wind, and they should see their tilth yellow, then they would thereafter remain disbelieving. 51 So verily thou canst not make the dead to hear, nor canst thou make the deaf to hear the call, when they show their backs and turn away. 52 just as thou canst not lead the blind [of heart] out of their error: none canst thou make hear [thy call] save such as [are willing to] believe in Our messages, and thus surrender themselves unto Us. 53

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
