۞ It is God who created you of weakness, then after weakness gave you strength, then after strength will give you weakness and grey hair. Surely He makes whatever He wills. He is all-knowing and all-powerful. 54 And on the Day whereon the Hour arriveth, the culprits will swear that they tarried not but an hour; thus were they ever deluded. 55 And those who have been vouchsafed knowledge and belief will say: assuredly ye have tarried according to the decree of Allah until the Day of Upraising; so this is the Day of Upraising, but ye were wont not to know. 56 Their excuses will be of no avail to the sinners on that day, and they will not be allowed to beg for favour. 57 In the Qur'an We have explained things to people in myriad ways. But no matter what Sign you bring to them, those who are resolved upon denying the Truth will say: “You are given to falsehood.” 58 Even so God seals the hearts of those that know not. 59 So be patient. Indeed, the promise of Allah is truth. And let them not disquiet you who are not certain [in faith]. 60
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
