۞ Allah is He Who shaped you out of weakness, then appointed after weakness strength, then, after strength, appointed weakness and grey hair. He createth what He will. He is the Knower, the Mighty. 54 And on the day when the Last Day is established, the guilty will swear that they did not stay except for an hour; this is how they keep straying. 55 And those who have been bestowed with knowledge and faith will say: "Indeed you have stayed according to the Decree of Allah, until the Day of Resurrection, so this is the Day of Resurrection, but you knew not." 56 On that Day, excuses shall not benefit the harmdoers, nor shall they be asked to make amends. 57 Indeed, We have struck for the people in this Koran every manner of similitude; and if thou bringest them a sign, those who are unbelievers will certainly say, 'You do nothing but follow falsehood.' 58 In this way does God seal the hearts of those who do not [want to] know [the truth]. 59 Be patient. The promise of God is certainly true. Let not the faithless make you despair of the promise of God. 60
