Prostration (Al-Sajdah)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Alif-Lam-Mim. 1 Revelation of this Book, whereof there is no doubt, is from the Lord of the Worlds. 2 Or do they say he has fabricated it? In fact, it is the truth from your Lord so that you may warn the people to whom no admonisher was sent before you. They may haply come to guidance. 3 It is Allah Who created the heavens and the earth and all that is between the two, in six days, and then He established Himself on the Throne. You have no guardian or intercessor other than He. Will you, then, not take heed? 4 He directs all affairs from heaven to earth. Then all will again ascend to Him on a Day whose length is a thousand years by the way you measure. 5 He is the Knower of the Unseen and the Visible, the Almighty, the Most Merciful, 6 who makes most excellent everything that He creates. Thus, He begins the creation of man out of clay; 7 He made His offspring come into existence from an extract of insignificant fluid, 8 Then He fashioned him and breathed into him something of a spirit from Him; and He ordained for you hearing and sight and hearts. Little is the thanks ye return. 9 But they say: "When we have mingled with the earth, shall we be created anew?" In fact they deny the meeting with their Lord. 10 ۞ Say: 'Death's angel, who has been charged with you, shall gather you, then to your Lord you shall be returned.' 11
