Indeed, We gave Moses the Book; so he not in doubt concerning the encounter with him; and We appointed it for a guidance to the Children of Israel. 23 And We appointed from among them leaders guiding by Our command, when they endured patiently, and had sure faith in Our signs. 24 Surely your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning that wherein they used to differ. 25 Did (these historical events) not make them realise that We destroyed many nations before them amidst whose dwellings they now move about? Surely there are many Signs in this. Are they unable to hear? 26 And do they not see that We do drive rain to parched soil (bare of herbage), and produce therewith crops, providing food for their cattle and themselves? Have they not the vision? 27 They say, "If what you say is true, when will the final triumph come?" 28 Say: "Of no use will be the acceptance of belief to unbelievers on the Day of Decision, nor will they be granted respite. 29 and then leave them alone, and wait [for the truth to unfold as] they, behold, are waiting. 30
