We have given the Book to Moses, so (Prophet Muhammad) do not be in doubt concerning the meeting with him (Prophet Moses), and made it a guidance to the Children of Israel. 23 We appointed leaders from among them, guiding by Our command when they were steadfast and when they had firm faith in Our signs. 24 Surely your Lord will decide between them about what they were at variance, on the Day of Resurrection. 25 Hath this not guided them: how many generations We have destroyed before them amidst whose dwellings they walk? Verily therein are signs; will they not therefore hearken? 26 And do they not see that We send the water to the barren land and produce crops with it, so their animals and they themselves eat from it? So do they not perceive? 27 And they say: When cometh this victory (of yours) if ye are truthful? 28 Say thou: on the day of the Decision their belief will not profit those who have disbelieved; nor will they be respited. 29 So withdraw from them (O Muhammad), and await (the event). Lo! they (also) are awaiting (it). 30
