O Prophet, tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to bring down over themselves [part] of their outer garments. That is more suitable that they will be known and not be abused. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful. 59 ۞ If the hypocrites and perverts, and the rumour-mongers of Madinah, do not desist even now, We shall rouse you against them, so they would not be able to live but a short time in the city with you. 60 Accursed; wherever found they shall be laid hold of and slain with a relentless slaughter. 61 That was the way of Allah in the case of those who passed away of old; thou wilt not find for the way of Allah aught of power to change. 62 People ask you regarding the Last Day; proclaim, “Its knowledge is only with Allah; and what do you know, the Last Day may really be near!” 63 God has condemned the unbelievers and prepared for them a burning torment 64 In which they will remain forever; in it they will find neither a protector nor any supporter. 65 On the day when their faces shall be turned back into the fire, they shall say: O would that we had obeyed Allah and obeyed the Apostle! 66 And they shall say: O our Lord! surely we obeyed our leaders and our great men, so they led us astray from the path; 67 O Lord, give them a double punishment, and put a grievous curse upon them." 68
