O Prophet! Tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to draw their cloaks (veils) all over their bodies (i.e. screen themselves completely except the eyes or one eye to see the way). That will be better, that they should be known (as free respectable women) so as not to be annoyed. And Allah is Ever OftForgiving, Most Merciful. 59 ۞ If the hypocrites and those in whose hearts is a disease and the raisers of commotion in Madina desist not, We shall surely set thee up against them; thenceforth they shall not be suffered to neighbour thee therein except for a little while. 60 Accursed, wherever they are found, they will be seized and killed. 61 Such has been God's way with those who have gone before them. You shall find no change in the ways of God. 62 PEOPLE will ask thee about the Last Hour. Say: "Knowledge thereof rests with God alone; yet for all thou knowest, the Last Hour may well be near!" 63 Lo! Allah hath cursed the disbelievers, and hath prepared for them a flaming fire, 64 There they will live forever, and they will find therein neither friend nor helper. 65 On the day when their faces will be overturned being roasted inside the fire, they will say, “Alas – if only we had obeyed Allah and obeyed His Noble Messenger!” 66 They will say: “Our Lord, we obeyed our chiefs and our great ones, and they turned us away from the Right Way. 67 Our Lord, let their punishment be doubled; and curse them with a mighty curse' 68
