O Prophet, enjoin your wives and your daughters and the believing women, to draw a part of their outer coverings around them. It is likelier that they will be recognised and not molested. Allah is Most Forgiving, Most Merciful. 59 ۞ If the hypocrites and those who have tainted hearts and the scandal mongers of Madinah do not desist, We shall surely give you authority over them and their days in that city will be numbered. 60 Cursed: wherever they are found they shall be seized and murdered, a (horrible) murdering. 61 That was the Way of Allah in the case of those who passed away of old, and you will not find any change in the Way of Allah. 62 People ask you regarding the Last Day; proclaim, “Its knowledge is only with Allah; and what do you know, the Last Day may really be near!” 63 Allah has cursed the unbelievers and has prepared for them a Blazing Fire; 64 There they will live forever, and they will find therein neither friend nor helper. 65 On the Day when their faces are turned over in the Fire, they shall say: "Oh, would that we had obeyed God, and obeyed the Messenger!" 66 They will say, "Lord, we obeyed our chiefs and elders and they caused us to go astray. 67 Our Lord, let their punishment be doubled; and curse them with a mighty curse' 68
