Say thou: call upon those whom ye assert beside Allah. They own not an atom's weight either in the heavens or in the earth, nor have they any partnership in either, nor is there for Him from among them any supporter. 22 Intercession will not avail with Him save for him to whom He gives leave; till, when terror is lifted from their hearts, they will say, "What said your Lord?' They will say, 'The truth; and He is the All-high; the All-great.' 23 ۞ Ask them, "Who provides sustenance for you from the heavens and the earth?" Say, "It is God"; either you or we are rightly guided or in manifest error." 24 Say thou: ye will not be questioned about that which we have committed, nor shall we be questioned about that which ye work. 25 Say thou: our Lord shall assemble us together, then He shall judge between us with truth; and He is the Great Judge, the Knower. 26 Say thou: show me those whom ye have joined with Him as associates. By no means! Aye! He is Allah, the Mighty, the Wise. 27 (O Prophet), We have not sent you forth but as a herald of good news and a warner for all mankind. But most people do not know. 28 And they say: When is this promise (to be fulfilled) if ye are truthful? 29 Say, "For you is the appointment of a Day [when] you will not remain thereafter an hour, nor will you precede [it]." 30
