۞ Say (unto them, O Muhammad): I exhort you unto one thing only: that ye awake, for Allah's sake, by twos and singly, and then reflect: There is no madness in your comrade. He is naught else than a warner unto you in face of a terrific doom. 46 Say: "The reward I ask is for yourself. My reward is due from none but God; and He is witness over everything." 47 Say thou: verily my Lord hurleth the truth: the Knower of things hidden. 48 Say: "The truth has come, and falsehood had neither precedence nor will reappear." 49 Say, "If I should err, I would only err against myself. But if I am guided, it is by what my Lord reveals to me. Indeed, He is Hearing and near." 50 Couldst thou but see when they are terrified with no escape, and are seized from near at hand, 51 And then they will say: we believe therein. But whence can there be the attainment of faith from a place so afar. 52 And they disbelieved in it before, and they utter conjectures with regard to the unseen from a distant place. 53 And they will be shut off from that which they will eagerly desire, as shall be done with the likes of them of yore. Verily they have been in doubt perplexing. 54
