۞ Proclaim, “I advise you just one thing; that stand up for Allah's sake, in twos and ones, and then think”; there is not a trace of insanity in this companion of yours; he is not but a Herald of Warning for you, before the advent of a severe punishment! 46 Say: Whatever reward I might have asked of you is yours. My reward is the affair of Allah only. He is Witness over all things. 47 Say: Lo! my Lord hurleth the truth. (He is) the Knower of Things Hidden. 48 Say: 'Truth has come. Falsehood has vanished and shall return no more.' 49 Say: 'If I go astray, I go astray only to my own loss; if I am guided, it is by what my Lord reveals to me. He is All-hearing, Ever-nigh.' 50 If thou couldst but see when they will quake with terror; but then there will be no escape (for them), and they will be seized from a position (quite) near. 51 And say: We (now) believe therein. But how can they reach (faith) from afar off, 52 since they disbelieved in it before, guessing at the Unseen from a distant place? 53 And a barrier is set between them and that which they desire, as it was done before with their like; they were in suspicious doubt' 54
