۞ O mankind, you are those in need of Allah, while Allah is the Free of need, the Praiseworthy. 15 If He wills, He can take you away and bring other creatures. 16 And this not at all difficult for Allah. 17 And no burdened soul can bear another's burden, and if one heavy laden crieth for (help with) his load, naught of it will be lifted even though he (unto whom he crieth) be of kin. Thou warnest only those who fear their Lord in secret, and have established worship. He who groweth (in goodness), groweth only for himself, (he cannot by his merit redeem others). Unto Allah is the journeying. 18 For [thus it is:] the blind and the seeing are not equal; 19 Nor are (alike) the darkness (disbelief) and the light (Belief in Islamic Monotheism). 20 The shade and the hot wind are not equal, 21 And not equal are the living and the dead! Indeed Allah causes them to listen*, whomever He wills; and you cannot make those who are in the graves** listen. (* Listen to guidance **The disbelievers are referred to as dead, whose fates are sealed.) 22 You (Prophet Muhammad) are but a warner. 23 Surely We have sent you with the truth as a bearer of good news and a warner; and there is not a people but a warner has gone among them. 24 And if they belie you, those before them also belied. Their Messengers came to them with clear signs, and with the Scriptures, and the book giving light. 25 Then seized I those who disbelieved, and how intense was My abhorrence! 26
