۞ O men, you are the ones that have need of God; He is the All-sufficient, the All-laudable. 15 If He so pleased, He could blot you out and bring in a New Creation. 16 And with Allah that shall not be hard. 17 And no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another. And if a heavily laden soul calls [another] to [carry some of] its load, nothing of it will be carried, even if he should be a close relative. You can only warn those who fear their Lord unseen and have established prayer. And whoever purifies himself only purifies himself for [the benefit of] his soul. And to Allah is the [final] destination. 18 The blind and the seeing are not alike 19 Nor are the darknesses and the light, 20 Nor the shade and the sun's heat. 21 Nor are the living equal with the dead. Lo! Allah maketh whom He will to hear. Thou canst not reach those who are in the graves. 22 You are purely a Herald of Warning. 23 Verily We have sent thee in truth, as a bearer of glad tidings, and as a warner: and there never was a people, without a warner having lived among them (in the past). 24 And if they deny thee, those before them also denied. Their messengers came unto them with clear proofs (of Allah's Sovereignty), and with the Psalms and the Scripture giving light. 25 Then I took hold of those who disbelieved. So how terrible was My disapproval! 26
