۞ People, you are always in need of God and God is Self-sufficient and Praiseworthy. 15 If He will, He can be rid of you and bring (instead of you) some new creation. 16 that is surely no great matter for God. 17 And a bearer of burthen will not bear another's burthen, and if one heavy-laden calleth for his load, naught thereof will be borne although he be of kin. Thou canst warn only those who fear their Lord, unseen, and establish prayer. And whosoever becometh clean becometh clean only for himself; and unto Allah is the return. 18 And the blind and the sighted are not equal! 19 Nor are the depths of Darkness and the Light; 20 Nor is the shadow equal with the sun's full heat; 21 nor are the living and the dead alike. Allah makes to hear whomsoever He wishes, but you, (O Prophet), cannot cause to hear those who are in their graves. 22 thou art naught but a warner. 23 Surely We have sent thee with the truth good tidings to bear, and warning; not a nation there is, but there has passed away in it a warner. 24 If they call you a liar, so had those before them called their apostles liars, who had come to them with clear proofs, scriptures and the splendent Book. 25 then I seized the unbelievers, and how was My horror! 26
