۞ People, it is you who are in need of Allah. He is the Rich, the Praised. 15 If He will, He can take you away and bring about a new creation. 16 Nor is that (at all) difficult for Allah. 17 And no burdened soul will carry another soul’s burden; and if a burdened soul calls another to share the burden, no one will carry any part of it, even if he is a close relative; O dear Prophet (Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), your warning only benefits those who fear their Lord without seeing and who keep the prayer established; and whoever cleansed himself, has cleansed for his own benefit; and towards Allah only is the return. 18 The blind and the sighted are not equal, 19 nor are darkness and light 20 The shade and the hot wind are not equal, 21 Nor are (alike) the living (believers) and the dead (disbelievers). Verily, Allah makes whom He will hear, but you cannot make hear those who are in graves. 22 You are but a warner, 23 We have sent you with the truth, to give glad tidings and to warn. Never has there been a community to which an admonisher was not sent. 24 If they reject you, so did their predecessors. Messengers came to them with clear signs, with scriptures, and with the enlightening Book, 25 In the end did I punish those who rejected Faith: and how (terrible) was My rejection (of them)! 26
