Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Ya Seen. 1 I swear by the Quran full of wisdom 2 thou art truly among the Envoys 3 On a Straight Path (i.e. on Allah's religion of Islamic Monotheism). 4 It is a Revelation sent down by (Him), the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 5 so that you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned, and so were heedless. 6 The sentence is surely justified against most of them, for they do not believe. 7 Surely We have put on their necks fetters up to the chin, so their heads are raised; 8 And We have set a wall before them and a wall behind them, and covered the top – so they are unable to see anything. 9 And it is all the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them - they will not believe. 10 You can only warn him who listens to the warning and fears Ar-Rahman secretly. So give him good news of forgiveness and a generous reward. 11 Verily We! We shall quicken the dead. And We write down that which they send before and their footsteps. And everything We have counted up in a Book luminous. 12
