Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
Ya, Seen. 1 By the Wise Koran, 2 verily, thou art indeed one of God's message-bearers, 3 pursuing a straight way 4 with a revelation sent down by the Mighty One, the Merciful, 5 That you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned, so they are heedless. 6 (I swear) that most of them are doomed to be punished. They have no faith. 7 Lo! We have put on their necks carcans reaching unto the chins, so that they are made stiff-necked. 8 and We have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and We have enshrouded them in veils so that they cannot see: 9 And it is the same for them, whether you warn them or do not warn them – they will not believe. 10 Thou canst [truly] warn only him who is willing to take the reminder to heart, and who stands in awe of the Most Gracious although He is beyond the reach of human perception: unto such, then, give the glad tiding of [God's] forgiveness and of a most excellent reward! 11 Indeed, it is We who bring the dead to life and record what they have put forth and what they left behind, and all things We have enumerated in a clear register. 12
