Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Ya Sin 1 By the Quran, full of wisdom (i.e. full of laws, evidences, and proofs), 2 you are indeed one of the messengers 3 On a straight path, 4 The sending down of the Mighty, the Most Merciful 5 That you may warn a people whose ancestors had never been warned, who are therefore heedless. 6 Already the word has come into effect upon most of them, so they do not believe. 7 We have bound their necks with fetters up to their chin, so that their heads are raised and cannot be lowered. 8 and We have put before them a barrier and behind them a barrier; and We have covered them, so they do not see. 9 And it is alike unto them, whether thou warnest them or warnest them not; they shall not believe. 10 You can only warn him who follows the reminder and fears the Beneficent Allah in secret; so announce to him forgiveness and an honorable reward. 11 It is We who bring the dead to life and records the deeds of human beings and their consequences (of continual effects). We keep everything recorded in an illustrious Book. 12
