Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Yaa-Seen (Alphabets of Arabic language – Allah and to whomever He reveals, know their precise meanings.) 1 and the Quran, the Book of wisdom, 2 you are truly among the Messengers, 3 and that you follow the right path. 4 This is a revelation sent down from the Majestic and All-merciful 5 so that you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned, and so were heedless. 6 The word has been proved true against the greater part of them: they will not believe. 7 Verily! We have put on their necks iron collars reaching to chins, so that their heads are forced up. 8 and We have put before them a barrier and behind them a barrier; and We have covered them, so they do not see. 9 Whether you warn them or not, they will not believe. 10 Thou canst warn only him who followeth the admonition and feareth the Compassionate, unseen. So bear thou unto him the glad tidings of forgiveness and a generous hire. 11 Surely it is We who bring the dead to life and write down what they have forwarded and what they have left behind; everything We have numbered in a clear register. 12
