Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
O THOU human being! 1 and the Quran, the Book of wisdom, 2 verily, thou art indeed one of God's message-bearers, 3 on a straight path; 4 This is a revelation sent down from the Majestic and All-merciful 5 In order that thou mayest admonish a people, whose fathers had received no admonition, and who therefore remain heedless (of the Signs of Allah). 6 Indeed the Word (of punishment) has proved true against most of them, so they will not believe. 7 Indeed, We have put shackles on their necks, and they are to their chins, so they are with heads [kept] aloft. 8 and We have put a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and have covered them up, so they are unable to see. 9 And it is the same for them, whether you warn them or do not warn them – they will not believe. 10 You warn only him who follows the advice and fears the Most Gracious without seeing; therefore give him glad tidings of forgiveness and an honourable reward. 11 We shall surely bring the dead back to life and We record what they send ahead and what they leave behind. We have recorded everything in a clear book. 12
