Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
Ya'. Sin. 1 By the Quran, full of wisdom (i.e. full of laws, evidences, and proofs), 2 verily, thou art indeed one of God's message-bearers, 3 On a path that is straight, -- 4 (and this Qur'an) is a revelation from the Most Mighty, the Most Compassionate 5 That you may warn a people whose ancestors had never been warned, who are therefore heedless. 6 Already hath the judgment, (for their infidelity) proved true of most of them, for they believe not. 7 Indeed, We have put shackles on their necks, and they are to their chins, so they are with heads [kept] aloft. 8 And We have put a barrier before them, and a barrier behind them, and We have covered them up, so that they cannot see. 9 It is all the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them for they shall not believe. 10 Thou canst but admonish such a one as follows the Message and fears the (Lord) Most Gracious, unseen: give such a one, therefore, good tidings, of Forgiveness and a Reward most generous. 11 Indeed, it is We who bring the dead to life and record what they have put forth and what they left behind, and all things We have enumerated in a clear register. 12
