Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
Ya Sin. 1 By oath of the wise Qur’an. 2 you are indeed one of the messengers 3 On a path that is straight, -- 4 This is a revelation sent down from the Majestic and All-merciful 5 That thou mayest warn a people whose fathers were not warned; so they are negligent. 6 The Word has been realised against most of them, yet they do not believe. 7 We have enchained their necks up to their chins. Thus, they cannot bend their heads (to find their way). 8 And We have set a bar before them and a bar behind them, and (thus) have covered them so that they see not. 9 It makes no difference to them whether you warn them or do not warn them: they will not believe. 10 You can only warn him who follows the Reminder (the Quran), and fears the Most Beneficent (Allah) unseen. Bear you to such one the glad tidings of forgiveness, and a generous reward (i.e. Paradise). 11 Verily, We shall indeed bring the dead back to life; and We shall record whatever [deeds] they have sent ahead, and the traces [of good and evil] which they have left behind: for of all things do We take account in a record clear. 12
