In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Ya Sin. 1 Consider this Qur'an full of wisdom: 2 Lo! thou art of those sent 3 on a Straight Way, 4 with a revelation sent down by the Mighty One, the Merciful, 5 so that you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned, and so were heedless. 6 The sentence is surely justified against most of them, for they do not believe. 7 Indeed, We have put shackles on their necks, and they are to their chins, so they are with heads [kept] aloft. 8 And We shall raise a barrier in front of them and a barrier behind them, and cover them over so that they will not be able to see. 9 It makes no difference to them whether you warn them or do not warn them: they will not believe. 10 You can only warn him who listens to the warning and fears Ar-Rahman secretly. So give him good news of forgiveness and a generous reward. 11 Verily We shall give life to the dead, and We record that which they send before and that which they leave behind, and of all things have We taken account in a clear Book (of evidence). 12
