Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
YA SIN. 1 I call to witness the Qur'an, custodian of all laws, -- 2 Lo! thou art of those sent 3 and that you follow the right path. 4 the sending down of the All-mighty, the All-wise, 5 so that you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned, and so were heedless. 6 Already the word has come into effect upon most of them, so they do not believe. 7 We have indeed put shackles around their necks reaching up to the chins, so they remain facing upwards. 8 And We shall raise a barrier in front of them and a barrier behind them, and cover them over so that they will not be able to see. 9 And it is alike unto them, whether thou warnest them or warnest them not; they shall not believe. 10 Thou only warnest him who follows the Remembrance and who fears the All-merciful in the Unseen; so give him the good tidings of forgiveness and a generous wage. 11 Verily We shall give life to the dead, and We record that which they send before and that which they leave behind, and of all things have We taken account in a clear Book (of evidence). 12
