Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
YaSeen. 1 By the Wise Koran, 2 Lo! thou art of those sent 3 on a straight path, 4 by [virtue of] what is being bestowed from on high by the Almighty, the Dispenser of Grace, 5 that thou mayest warn a people whose fathers were never warned, so they are heedless. 6 Already the word has come into effect upon most of them, so they do not believe. 7 Verily! We have put on their necks iron collars reaching to chins, so that their heads are forced up. 8 And We have put before them a barrier and behind them a barrier and covered them, so they do not see. 9 It makes no difference to them whether you warn them or do not warn them: they will not believe. 10 Thou canst warn only him who followeth the admonition and feareth the Compassionate, unseen. So bear thou unto him the glad tidings of forgiveness and a generous hire. 11 We shall surely raise the dead to life and We record what they did and the traces of their deeds that they have left behind. We have encompassed that in a Clear Book. 12
