The dead land is a sign for them. We revive it, and from it produce grain from which they eat. 33 And We make therein gardens of palms and grapevines and We make springs to flow forth in it, 34 so that they may consume the fruits and whatever their hands prepare. Will they not then be grateful? 35 Glory be to Him Who created all the sexual pairs, of that which the earth groweth, and of themselves, and of that which they know not! 36 And [of Our sway over all that exists] they have a sign in the night: We withdraw from it the [light of] day - and lo! they are in darkness. 37 And the sun -- it runs to a fixed resting-place; that is the ordaining of the All-mighty, the All-knowing. 38 And the moon! For it We have decreed mansions till it reverteth like the old branch of a palm-tree. 39 It is not for the sun to catch up with the moon, nor does the night surpass the day; and each one of them floats in its orbit. 40 And a sign unto them is that We bear their offspring in a laden ship. 41 And have created for them of the like thereof whereon they ride. 42 And if We will, We shall drown them, and there will be no shout (or helper) for them (to hear their cry for help) nor will they be saved. 43 Unless it be a mercy from Us, and as an enjoyment for a while. 44 And when it is said to them: "Beware of that which is before you (worldly torments), and that which is behind you (torments in the Hereafter), in order that you may receive Mercy (i.e. if you believe in Allah's Religion Islamic Monotheism, and avoid polytheism, and obey Allah with righteous deeds). 45 And there comes not to them a communication of the communications of their Lord but they turn aside from it. 46 And when it is said to them: Spend out of what Allah has given you, those who disbelieve say to those who believe: Shall we feed him whom, if Allah please, He could feed? You are in naught but clear error. 47 And they say, “When will this promise be fulfilled, if you are truthful?” 48 They will not (have to) wait for aught but a single Blast: it will seize them while they are yet disputing among themselves! 49 Then they will be unable to make a will, nor shall they return to their kinsmen. 50
