Evidence (of the truth) for them is how We revived the dead earth 33 And We produce therein orchard with date-palms and vines, and We cause springs to gush forth therein: 34 that they might eat of its fruits and their hands' labour. What, will they not be thankful? 35 Glory to Allah, Who created in pairs all things that the earth produces, as well as their own (human) kind and (other) things of which they have no knowledge. 36 And there is a sign in the night for them. We strip off the day from it and they are left in darkness, 37 And the sun runneth to its appointed term: that is the disposition of the Mighty, the Knowing. 38 We have appointed stages for the moon till it returns in the shape of a dry old branch of palm-tree. 39 It is not for the sun to overtake the moon, nor does the night outstrip the day. They all float, each in an orbit. 40 And a sign unto them is that We bear their offspring in a laden ship. 41 And We have created for them of the like thereunto, so on them they ride. 42 We could have drowned them if We pleased, and none would have answered their cry for help, nor would they have been saved, 43 But (by) mercy from Us and for enjoyment till a time. 44 When it is said to such people: “Guard yourselves against what is ahead of you and what has preceded you that mercy be shown to you” (they pay scant heed to it). 45 Never does any Sign of their Lord come to them, but they turn away from it. 46 and when they are told, "Give to others out of what God has provided for you," those who are bent on denying the truth say to the believers, "Why should we feed those whom God could feed if He wanted? You are clearly in error!" 47 They also say, 'When shall this promise come to pass, if you speak truly?' 48 They will not have to wait long. When the Day of Judgment comes, it will only take a single blast of sound to strike them while they are quarrelling with one another. 49 So they shall not be able to make a bequest, nor shall they return to their families. 50
