But [let them always remember that] if We lengthen a human being's days, We also cause him to decline in his powers [when he grows old]: will they not, then, use their reason? 68 AND [thus it is:] We have not imparted to this [Prophet the gift of] poetry, nor would [poetry] have suited this [message]: it is but a reminder and a [divine] discourse, clear in itself and clearly showing the truth, 69 by which he may warn those who are living and may let the words of God come true against the unbelievers. 70 Are they, then, not aware that it is for them that We have created, among all the things which Our hands have wrought, the domestic animals of which they are [now] masters? 71 We have made the cattle subservient to them so they ride and consume them. 72 and may have [yet other] benefits from them, and [milk] to drink? Will they not, then, be grateful? 73 And take other gods apart from God that they may perhaps give them help. 74 They have not the power to help them: but they will be brought up (before Our Judgment-seat) as a troop (to be condemned). 75 So be not grieved by what they say. We certainly know what they hide and disclose. 76 Has the human not seen how We created him from a drop (of sperm)? Yet he is a clear opponent. 77 And he puts forth for Us a parable, and forgets his own creation. He says: "Who will give life to these bones when they have rotted away and became dust?" 78 Say: (O Muhammad SAW) "He will give life to them Who created them for the first time! And He is the All-Knower of every creation!" 79 He who produces fire for you from green trees and from this you kindle fire." 80 Is not He, who created the heavens and earth, able to create the like of them? Yes indeed; He is the All-creator, the All-knowing. 81 And His only task when He intends a thing is to command it, “Be” – and it thereupon happens! 82 So all glory to Him who holds all power over everything, to whom you will go back in the end. 83
