If We extend anyone's life, We reverse his development. Can they not use their reason? 68 AND [thus it is:] We have not imparted to this [Prophet the gift of] poetry, nor would [poetry] have suited this [message]: it is but a reminder and a [divine] discourse, clear in itself and clearly showing the truth, 69 To warn whoever is alive and justify the word against the disbelievers. 70 Do they not see that We have created for them of what Our Hands have created, the cattle, so that they are their owners. 71 We have subdued them to them, and some of them they ride, and some they eat; 72 And they have therefrom other benefits and drinks. Will they not then give thanks? 73 They chose idols besides God in the hope of receiving help from them, but they will not be able to help them. 74 They cannot help them, but they will be brought forward as a troop against those who worshipped them (at the time of Reckoning). 75 Muhammad, let not their words annoy you. We certainly know whatever they conceal or reveal. 76 And did not man see that We have created him from a drop of semen? Yet he is an open quarreller! 77 He strikes for Us a similitude and forgot his own creation. He says: “Who will quicken the bones when they have decayed?” 78 Say: (O Muhammad SAW) "He will give life to them Who created them for the first time! And He is the All-Knower of every creation!" 79 Who hath appointed for you fire from the green tree, and behold! ye kindle from it. 80 Is not He Who created the heavens and the earth Able to create the like of them? Aye, that He is! for He is the All-Wise Creator, 81 When He wills a thing He has only to say: "Be," and it is. 82 Exaltations to Him in whose Hand is the Kingdom of all things, and to Him you will be returned. 83
