If We extend anyone's life, We reverse his development. Can they not use their reason? 68 And We have not taught him (Prophet Mohammed- peace and blessings be upon him) to recite poetry, nor does it befit him; it is nothing but an advice and the bright Qur’an. 69 To warn whoever is alive and justify the word against the disbelievers. 70 Have they not seen how that We have created for them of that Our hands wrought cattle that they own? 71 We have subdued these to them, and some of them they ride and some of them they eat; 72 They derive a variety of benefits and drinks from them. Will they, then, not give thanks? 73 But they have taken besides Allah [false] deities that perhaps they would be helped. 74 Those deities can render them no help. Yet these devotees act as though they were an army in waiting for them. 75 So do not let their saying grieve thee; assuredly We know what they keep secret and what they publish. 76 Doth not man see that it is We Who created him from sperm? yet behold! he (stands forth) as an open adversary! 77 producing arguments against Us, and forgetting his own creation. He asks, "Who can give life back to bones after they have rotted away?" 78 Say: 'He shall quicken them, who originated them the first time; He knows all creation, 79 [It is] He who made for you from the green tree, fire, and then from it you ignite. 80 Is not He, Who created the heavens and the earth Able to create the like of them? Yes, indeed! He is the All-Knowing Supreme Creator. 81 When He wills a thing, His command is to say to it 'Be', and it is! 82 Therefore Purity is to Him in Whose Hand* is the control over all things and it is towards Him that you will be returned. (Used as a metaphor to mean Power). 83
