The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the rangers ranging 1 by those who drive away the devil (to protect Our revelation), 2 And those who read (the Word) for a reminder, 3 surely your God is One, 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatsoever is in-between the twain, and Lord of the easts. 5 We have indeed adorned the lowest heaven with stars as ornaments. 6 and guarded it against all rebellious devils: 7 These satans cannot listen to what transpires in the High Council for they are pelted away from every side 8 Repulsed, for they are under a perpetual penalty, 9 Except those who eavesdrop and are pursued by a shooting flame. 10 (Muhammad), ask them, "Have they (people) been created stronger than what We have created?" We have created them from moist clay. 11 No, you marvel, while they scoff. 12 When they are reminded, they do not remember. 13 and, when they see a sign, would scoff; 14 And they say, “This is nothing but clear magic.” 15 "What! when we die, and become dust and bones, shall we (then) be raised up (again) 16 And our forefathers [as well]?" 17 Proclaim, “Yes, and with disgrace.” 18 Then it will be a single (compelling) cry; and behold, they will begin to see! 19 and they will say: 'Woe for us. This is the Day of Recompense' 20 This is the Day of Judgment in which you disbelieved. 21
