The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By those who set the ranks in battle order 1 and the scarers scaring 2 Then those who recite, being mindful, 3 surely your God is One, 4 Lord of the heavens and of the earth and all that is between them, and Lord of the sun's risings. 5 We have adorned the lower heaven with the adornment of the stars 6 And to guard against every rebellious devil. 7 So that they are not able to listen to the angels of higher (echelons), and are pelted from all sides 8 Outcast, and theirs is a constant (or painful) torment. 9 And if any is able to snatch a fragment, he is pursued by a piercing flame. 10 (Muhammad), ask them, "Have they (people) been created stronger than what We have created?" We have created them from moist clay. 11 Yet while you are filled with wonder, they just scoff; 12 And heed not when they are reminded, 13 and when they see a miracle, they mock 14 saying, "This is plain sorcery!" 15 Why - after we have died and become mere dust and bones, shall we, forsooth, be raised from the dead? 16 Will our forefathers also be brought to life again?" 17 Tell them: “Yes; and you are utterly helpless (against Allah).” 18 It shall be but one shout, lo! they shall be staring. 19 and will say: "Oh, woe unto us! This is the Day of Judgment!" 20 This is the Day of Judgment which ye were wont to belie. 21
