In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By those who range themselves in ranks, 1 and the scarers scaring 2 And thus proclaim the Message (of Allah)! 3 Verily, verily, your Allah is one!- 4 Lord of the heavens and of the earth and all that is between them, and Lord of the sun's risings. 5 Behold, We have adorned the skies nearest to the earth with the beauty of stars, 6 (For beauty) and for guard against all obstinate rebellious evil spirits, 7 They cannot listen to the higher group (angels) for they are pelted from every side. 8 and driven away to suffer the necessary torment. 9 And if any is able to snatch a fragment, he is pursued by a piercing flame. 10 (Muhammad), ask them, "Have they (people) been created stronger than what We have created?" We have created them from moist clay. 11 Yet while you are filled with wonder, they just scoff; 12 and, when reminded, do not remember 13 and when they become aware of a [divine] message, they turn it to ridicule 14 and say: "This is clearly nothing but [a mortal's] spellbinding eloquence! 15 "When we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we (then) verily be resurrected? 16 What, and our forefathers, the ancients' 17 Proclaim, “Yes, and with disgrace.” 18 It shall be but one shout, lo! they shall be staring. 19 They will say, "Woe to us! This is the Day of Reckoning." 20 This is the Day of Separation, which ye used to deny. 21

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
