The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the rangers ranging 1 By those (angels) who drive the clouds in a good way. 2 And thus proclaim the Message (of Allah)! 3 Verily your Ilah (God) is indeed One (i.e. Allah); 4 the Lord of the heavens and the earth and of all that is between them; the Lord of the Easts. 5 We have decked the lower heavens with stars 6 And to protect it from every rebellious devil. 7 So that they are not able to listen to the angels of higher (echelons), and are pelted from all sides 8 And kept far away. There is perpetual punishment for them, 9 except such as snatches a fragment, and he is pursued by a piercing flame. 10 Therefore ask them (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “Are they a stronger creation, or are other things of our creation, (the angels, the heavens etc.)?” We have indeed created them from sticky clay. 11 (Muhammad), you will be surprised that they still mock (God's revelations). 12 And when they are reminded, they pay no attention. 13 and if they see any Sign, they laugh it away 14 and say: 'This is nothing but clear sorcery' 15 They say, "Shall we be brought to life again after we die and turn into dust and bones? 16 "And also our fathers of old?" 17 Say (O Muhammad): Ye, in truth; and ye will be brought low. 18 There is but one Shout, and lo! they behold, 19 They will say: "Woe to us! This is the Day of Recompense!" 20 (It will be said): "This is the Day of Judgement which you used to deny." 21
