The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the rangers ranging 1 And those who drive [the clouds] 2 Then those who recite, being mindful, 3 Most surely your Allah is One: 4 Lord of the heavens and of the earth, and all that is between them, and Lord of every point of the sun's risings. (None has the right to be worshipped but Allah). 5 We have adorned the lower heaven with the adornment of the stars 6 and guarded it against all rebellious devils: 7 They cannot listen to the exalted assembly, and they are darted at from every side. 8 rejected, and theirs is an everlasting chastisement, 9 Except such as snatch away something by stealing and they are pursued by a flaming fire of piercing brightness. 10 Then ask them (O Muhammad): Are they stronger as a creation, or those (others) whom we have created? Lo! We created them of plastic clay. 11 No wonder you are surprised as they laugh with scorn. 12 When they are reminded, they do not remember. 13 And when they see an Ayah (a sign, a proof, or an evidence) from Allah, they mock at it. 14 And they say, “This is nothing but clear magic.” 15 When we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we then, forsooth, be raised (again)? 16 What, and our forefathers, the ancients' 17 Say: 'Yes, but worthless' 18 It will be a single Zajrah [shout (i.e. the second blowing of the Trumpet)], and behold, they will be staring! 19 and they will say: 'Woe for us. This is the Day of Recompense' 20 This is the Day of Judgment which ye were wont to belie. 21
