The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By those who range themselves in ranks, 1 by those who drive away the devil (to protect Our revelation), 2 And those who recite the message, 3 Most surely your Allah is One: 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatsoever is in-between the twain, and Lord of the easts. 5 Verily! We have adorned the near heaven with the stars (for beauty). 6 (For beauty) and for guard against all obstinate rebellious evil spirits, 7 They cannot listen to the speech of those on higher elevations and they are targeted from every side. 8 With a driving fusillade, and theirs shall be a torment perpetual; 9 Except such as snatch away something by stealth, and they are pursued by a flaming fire, of piercing brightness. 10 So ask them (that is, human beings): “Were they harder to create than the objects We created?” We created them from sticky clay. 11 Truly dost thou marvel, while they ridicule, 12 and when they are admonished, they pay no heed; 13 and when they see a miracle, they mock 14 and they say, 'This is nothing but manifest sorcery. 15 Is it ever possible that after we die and are reduced to dust and (a skeleton of) bones, we will be raised to life? 16 And so also shall our forefathers of yore be raised to life?” 17 Say, "Yes indeed, and you will be brought low." 18 It will be but one Shout, then see, they are watching 19 And they will say: Ah! woe be unto us! this is the Day of Requital. 20 “Yes, this is the Day of Final Decision that you used to deny as a lie.” 21
