1/2 Hizb 45

۞ “Gather all the unjust persons and their spouses, and all that they used to worship!” 22 Besides Allah, then lead them to the way to hell. 23 "But stop them, verily they are to be questioned. 24 "Why help you not one another?" 25 No indeed; but today they resign themselves in submission 26 And they will turn to one another and question one another. 27 They said, “It is you who used to come to us from our right, in order to sway.” 28 They will reply: "Nay, you yourselves were not believers. 29 We had no power over you. You were a rebellious people, 30 Thus, the words of Our Lord about us have come true and now we are suffering the torment. 31 "We led you astray: for truly we were ourselves astray." 32 So verily on that Day they all in the torment will be sharers. 33 Verily that is how We shall deal with Sinners. 34 When they were told, "There is no deity but God," they turned away with disdain, 35 And they said: are we going to abandon our gods on account of a poet distracted? 36 Nay, but he [whom you call a mad poet] has brought the truth; and he confirms the truth of [what the earlier of God's] message-bearers [have taught]. 37 you shall surely taste the painful punishment, 38 and will be recompensed only for what you deserve. 39 Not so, however, God's true servants: 40 For them is a known sustenance, 41 Fruits; and they will be honoured. 42 in the Gardens of Bliss, 43 upon couches, set face to face, 44 With cups from a flowing stream being passed around, 45 clear, delightful to those who drink it: 46 there is neither sickness in it, nor intoxication. 47 And with them will be mates of modest gaze, most beautiful of eye, 48 as if they were hidden pearls. 49 Then shall some of them advance to others, questioning each other. 50 One of them will say: 'I had a companion 51 "Who used to say, 'what! art thou amongst those who bear witness to the Truth (of the Message)? 52 When we are dead and have become dust and bones, are we indeed going to be requited? 53 (A voice) said: "Would ye like to look down?" 54 And he will look and see him in the midst of the Hellfire. 55 He saith: By Allah, thou verily didst all but cause my ruin, 56 And but for the favour of my lord, I should have been of those brought forward. 57 Are we not then to die 58 and that we would not be punished?" 59 Indeed, this is the mighty victory, 60 for the like of this let the workers work.' 61 Is that better by way of hospitality or the Zaqqum tree, 62 Lo! We have appointed it a torment for wrong-doers. 63 It is a tree that grows from the bottom of Hell; 64 Its produce is as it were the heads of the serpents. 65 So indeed they will eat from it, and fill their bellies with it. 66 Then on top of that they will be given a mixture made of boiling water. 67 And once again: Verily, the blazing fire is their ultimate goal 68 They found their fathers erring, 69 So they hastened [to follow] in their footsteps. 70 Before them a multitude of people of olden times had erred, 71 And indeed We sent among them warners (Messengers); 72 Therefore see what sort of fate befell those who were warned! 73 Only Our sincere servants were saved. 74
