3/4 Hizb 45
< random >
(In the days of old), Noah cried to Us, and We are the best to hear prayer. 75 We saved him and his family from the great affliction, 76 and made his offspring the only ones to survive, 77 And We left for him among the posterity. 78 Peace be upon Nooh, among the entire people. 79 That is how We recompense the righteous: 80 Surely he was among Our faithful creatures. 81 Then We drowned the others 82 ۞ Verily among those who followed his Way was Abraham. 83 When he came to his Lord with a sound heart 84 and said to his father and his people: “Whom do you worship? 85 "Is it a falsehood aliha (gods) other than Allah that you seek? 86 What do you think of the Lord of the Worlds?" 87 Then did he cast a glance at the Stars. 88 and said, "Verily, I am sick [at heart]!" 89 But they turned their backs and went away from him. 90 He then sneaked upon their deities and said, “Do you not eat?” 91 "What is the matter with you that you speak not?" 92 Then did he turn upon them, striking (them) with the right hand. 93 So the disbelievers came running towards him. 94 He said: Worship ye that which ye yourselves do carve 95 and God created you and what you make?' 96 They said, "Build him a furnace, and throw him into the blazing fire!" 97 They had contrived an evil plan against him, but We abased them all. 98 Abraham said: “I am going to my Lord; He will guide me. 99 My Lord! Bestow on me a son who will be of the righteous. 100 Wherefore We gave him the glad tidings of a boy gentle. 101 And when (his son) was old enough to walk with him, (Abraham) said: O my dear son, I have seen in a dream that I must sacrifice thee. So look, what thinkest thou? He said: O my father! Do that which thou art commanded. Allah willing, thou shalt find me of the steadfast. 102 Then (remember) when they both submitted to Allah’s command, and Ibrahim lay his son facing downwards. (The knife did not hurt Ismail) 103 We called unto him: O Abraham! 104 you have confirmed your vision' As such We recompense the gooddoers. 105 Most surely this is a manifest trial. 106 And We ransomed him with a mighty sacrifice, 107 And left (his hallowed memory) for posterity. 108 Peace be upon Abraham. 109 That is how We reward those who do good. 110 Lo! he is one of Our believing slaves. 111 And [in time] We gave him the glad tiding of Isaac, [who, too, would be] a prophet, one of the righteous; 112 and We blessed him and Isaac: but among the offspring of these two there were [destined] to be both doers of good and such as would glaringly sin against themselves. 113
