3/4 Hizb 45
< random >
Noah cried to Us, and how excellent was Our response! 75 And We rescued him and his family from the great distress (i.e. drowning), 76 And made his progeny to endure (on this earth); 77 And We let it remain upon him in the latter: 78 "Peace be upon Noah throughout all the worlds!" 79 Verily, thus We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 80 Surely he was of Our believing servants. 81 We drowned all the others (besides Noah and his people). 82 ۞ And most surely Ibrahim followed his way. 83 When he came to his Lord with a pure heart [attached to Allah Alone and none else, worshipping none but Allah Alone true Islamic Monotheism, pure from the filth of polytheism]. 84 When he said to his father (paternal uncle) and his people, “What do you worship?” 85 Is it a falsehood - gods beside Allah - that ye desire? 86 What is then your idea about the Lord of the worlds? 87 Then did he cast a glance at the Stars. 88 and said, "I am sick!" 89 So they went away from him, turning back. 90 Then he turned to their gods and said, "Do you not eat? 91 What aileth you that ye speak not? 92 He struck them with his right hand. 93 So they (people) advanced towards him, hastening. 94 He said: Worship ye that which ye yourselves do carve 95 when it is Allah who created you and all that you do' 96 They said, "Build a pyre for him and throw him into the blaze!" 97 And they intended for him a plan, but We made them the most debased. 98 He said, "I will go to my Lord: He is sure to guide me. 99 My Lord! grant me of the doers of good deeds. 100 So We gave him the good news of a boy ready to suffer and forbear. 101 And when he became capable of working with him, Ibrahim said, “O my son, I dreamt that I am sacrificing you therefore now consider what is your opinion”; he said, “O my father! Do what you are commanded! Allah willing, you will soon find me patiently enduring!” 102 And when they had both submitted and he put him down upon his forehead, 103 We called out to him, "Abraham, 104 “You have indeed made the dream come true”; and this is how We reward the virtuous. 105 for, behold, all this was indeed a trial, clear in itself. 106 And We ransomed him with a tremendous sacrifice, 107 and We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 108 Peace be upon Ibrahim! 109 Thus indeed do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 110 Verily he was one of Our believing bondmen. 111 So We gave him the good news of Isaac, apostle, who is among the righteous. 112 And We blessed him, and Isaac; and of their seed some are good-doers, and some manifest self-wrongers. 113
