3/4 Hizb 45

Noah called for help. How blessed was the answer which he received. 75 And We delivered him and his people from the great distress, 76 And We made his descendants those remaining [on the earth] 77 And left (his name) for posterity. 78 'Peace be upon Noah among all the worlds' 79 Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 80 Surely he was one of Our truly believing servants. 81 Then the rest we overwhelmed in the Flood. 82 ۞ Abraham was one of his followers. 83 Recall what time he came unto his Lord with a heart whole. 84 When he said to his father and his people: What is it that you worship? 85 "Is it a falsehood aliha (gods) other than Allah that you seek? 86 What, then, do you think of the Sustainer of all the worlds?" 87 The people invited him to attend their feast). Then he looked at the stars 88 and said: “I am sick.” 89 And they turned their backs on him and went away. (The pagans thought he would transmit the disease). 90 Then he turned to their gods and said, "Do you not eat? 91 What is amiss with you that you do not speak?" 92 He struck them with his right hand. 93 whereupon people came to him running. 94 He said: 'Do you worship what you, yourselves have carved 95 when it is God who has created you and all your handiwork?" 96 They said: Build for him a furnace, then cast him into the burning fire. 97 Their desire was to outwit him, but We made them to be the humiliated. 98 He said: "I will go to my Lord! He will surely guide me! 99 My Lord, grant me a righteous (son)' 100 Wherefore We gave him the glad tidings of a boy gentle. 101 And, when he (his son) was old enough to walk with him, he said: "O my son! I have seen in a dream that I am slaughtering you (offer you in sacrifice to Allah), so look what you think!" He said: "O my father! Do that which you are commanded, Insha' Allah (if Allah will), you shall find me of As-Sabirin (the patient ones, etc.)." 102 Then (remember) when they both submitted to Allah’s command, and Ibrahim lay his son facing downwards. (The knife did not hurt Ismail) 103 We called out to him: "O Abraham, 104 You have fulfilled your dream." Thus do We reward the good. 105 That was indeed a clear trial. 106 And We ransomed him with a mighty sacrifice, 107 and perpetuated his praise in later generations. 108 Peace be upon Ibrahim! 109 That is how We reward those who do good. 110 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 111 And We gave him the glad tidings of Ishaque (Isaac) a Prophet from the righteous. 112 And We blessed him and Isaac. Among their descendants are some who do good, but some who wrong themselves. 113
