Noah called to Us, and We are the Best to answer. 75 for We saved him and his household from that awesome calamity, 76 And his offspring! them We made the survivors. 77 and left for him among the later folk 78 "Peace upon Noah among the worlds." 79 Thus do We surely reward the doers of good. 80 he was among Our believing servants. 81 Then We did drown the others. 82 ۞ And Abraham indeed was of his inducement, 83 When he came unto his Lord with a whole heart; 84 when he said to his father and his folk, 'What do you serve? 85 Is it falsehood [as] gods other than Allah you desire? 86 What, then, do you think of the Sustainer of all the worlds?" 87 The people invited him to attend their feast). Then he looked at the stars 88 He then said, “I feel sick (of you)!” 89 and at that they turned their backs on him and went away. 90 He turned to their gods and said, "Do you not eat? 91 What is [wrong] with you that you do not speak?" 92 Then he turned against them secretly, smiting them with the right hand. 93 So they (people) advanced towards him, hastening. 94 Abraham said to them: “Do you worship what you yourselves have carved with your own hands 95 Whereas Allah hath created you and that which ye make? 96 They said: Build for him a furnace, then cast him into the burning fire. 97 They had contrived an evil plan against him, but We abased them all. 98 And [then] he said, "Indeed, I will go to [where I am ordered by] my Lord; He will guide me. 99 “My Lord! Give me a meritorious child.” 100 Then We gave him the good tidings of a prudent boy; 101 When he was old enough to go about with him, he said: "O my son, I dreamt that I was sacrificing you. Consider, what you think?" He replied: "Father, do as you are commanded. If God pleases you will find me firm." 102 Then, when they had both surrendered (to Allah), and he had flung him down upon his face, 103 We called out to him "O Abraham! 104 Thou hast already fulfilled the vision. Lo! thus do We reward the good. 105 That was indeed a clear trial. 106 So We ransomed him for a great sacrifice, 107 and We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 108 Peace be with Abraham. 109 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 110 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 111 So We gave him the good news of Isaac, apostle, who is among the righteous. 112 We had blessed him and Isaac. Some of their offspring were righteous and others were openly unjust to themselves. 113
