3/4 Hizb 45

Noah had verily called to Us. And how gracious was He who answered (him). 75 And We rescued him and his household from the great calamity. 76 And made his seed the survivors, 77 and We left him thus to be remembered among later generations: 78 "Peace be upon Noah throughout all the worlds!" 79 That is how We reward those who do good. 80 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 81 We drowned all the others (besides Noah and his people). 82 ۞ AND, BEHOLD, of his persuasion was Abraham, too, 83 Recall what time he came unto his Lord with a heart whole. 84 and said to his father and his people: “Whom do you worship? 85 Is it a falsehood-god beside Allah that ye desire? 86 What do you think about the Lord of the Universe?" 87 He cast a glance at the stars 88 And said, "I am sick," 89 And they turned their backs and went away from him. 90 Then turned he to their gods and said: Will ye not eat? 91 What is the matter with you, why do you not speak?” 92 Then he turned upon them, striking them with his right hand, 93 Thereupon the people came running to him. 94 He said: "Worship you that which you (yourselves) carve? 95 While Allah created you and that which you do?" 96 They said, "Let us build a fire and throw him into the flames". 97 Their desire was to outwit him, but We made them to be the humiliated. 98 Abraham said: “I am going to my Lord; He will guide me. 99 “My Lord! Give me a meritorious child.” 100 And We gave him the glad tidings of a very gentle son (Ishmael). 101 And when he reached the age of traveling with him, he said: 'My son, while I was sleeping I saw that I shall slaughter (sacrifice) you, tell me what is your opinion' He replied: 'Father, do as you are ordered (by Allah). Allah willing, you shall find me one of those who are steadfast' 102 Then, when they had both submitted themselves (to the Will of Allah), and he had laid him prostrate on his forehead (or on the side of his forehead for slaughtering); 103 We called out to him: "O Abraham, 104 "Thou hast already fulfilled the vision!" - thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 105 This was indeed a plain trial. 106 And We ransomed him with a mighty sacrifice, 107 and left him thus to be remembered among later generations: 108 "Peace be upon Abraham!" 109 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 110 Lo! he is one of Our believing slaves. 111 And We gave him the good news of Ishaq, a prophet among the good ones. 112 And We blessed him and Isaac. And of their seed are some who do good, and some who plainly wrong themselves. 113
