And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 That is how We reward those who do good. 121 They were among Our believing worshipers. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 We preserved a good name for him among posterity. 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 This is how We reward the virtuous. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 Lot, too, was among the Messengers. 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 And most surely you pass by them in the morning, 137 and at night. Will you then not understand? 138
